FACTORS RELATED TO THE USE OF CONDOM ON MALE OF ACCEPTERS IN THE WORK AREA OF KARANG ANYAR PUSKESMAS YEAR 2022

Abstract

The participation of men using condom contraceptives in Indonesia is still quite low at 3.01%. Based on the recapitulation of the monthly report of the Karang Anyar Health Center, only 4% or 172 of the 5,748 PUS used condoms. The purpose of this study was to find out what factors were related to the use of condoms in male family planning acceptors in the working area of Karang Anyar Health Center in 2022.This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional research design. The population in this study were all married men in the working area of the Karang Anyar Health Center in 2022. The data analysis used was the Chi square test.The results of this study showed that the frequency distribution of respondents who used condoms was 8.2%, lack of knowledge was 19.4%, age 35 was 33.7%, respondents who did not work were 16.3%, and respondents who worked were 82 respondents (83 ,7%) respondents with low education 29.6%, There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge, education level of respondents and wife's support with the use of condoms at the Karang Anyar Health Center in 2022.
