Pengembangan Self-Eficacy Mahasiswa Melalui Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling Pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the development of student self-efficacy during the COVID-19 pandemic. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The population of this study was students majoring in KPI IAIN Takengon. The sample in this study consisted of 5 students of KPI Class 2019 who had low self-efficacy. Data analysis in this study was done by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the conditions of low self-efficacy in students were lack of motivation to learn, excessive anxiety, and lack of time management. Self-efficacy development is carried out using group guidance services with self-talk techniques through 4 stages. The results of group guidance services with self-talk techniques have a positive effect on the development of student self-efficacy.
