Abstract
This research was motivated by a phenomenon in class XI of SMAN 1 Menganti which showed a high level of burnout in schools. The formulation of the problem is how effective the role playing technique group guidance service is in reducing the student's study burout. This study will collect empirical evidence about the effectiveness of role playing technique group guidance services in reducing workload studies.This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of pre-experimental research in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study were students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Menganti, and as a sample 8 students of class XI with a high level of brunout study. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling technique. Methods of data collection using a burnout study questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon test. The results show a decrease in students. Brunout study of students before treatment with group guidance learning with role playing techniques is high with an average score of 92, and after treatment with group guidance services with role playing in the low category. category with an average score of 48.4. The results interpreted by the Wilcoxon test concluded that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Guidance learning in the role playing technique group has a significant effect on the saturation of class XI social studies students at Sma Negeri 1 Menganti Gresik.
