Abstract

The point of this study is to evaluate the impact of role-playing strategies used in group guidance services at Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya High School on students' academic resilience. Students in grade X at Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya High School made up the study's sample. Five kids fell into the poor group for academic resilience, according to pre-test data that researchers used to organize the sampling. Purposive sampling was used in this study's sample selection process. This study's methodology is quantitative, and its one-group pre-test/post-test design was used. In this study, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation were utilized to collect data. Data analysis methods using the Wilcoxon Test and non-parametric statistics in SPSS. According to the computation and data analysis, there is a difference in the academic resilience scores of students before and after receiving role-playing tactics in group guidance services. Therefore, it can be said that the hypothesis is true and that class X students at Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya High School can develop their academic resilience by using the role-playing technique in group counseling services.
