POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DALAM MENDIDIK ANAK USIA PRASEKOLAH DITINJAU DARI ASPEK BUDAYA LAMPUNG

Abstract

Culture values have big effort toward individual mind set. In family life, there is a culture
in educate their children that need their parents’ thoughtfulness and control in childhood
development stages. Individual character building started from parenting that
implemented on their children by their parents. The objective of this research explained
about parenting profile of lampungnese in educate pre-school children. Method of this
research was qualitative descriptive. The data were taken by interview included
observation and document data (triangulation). The result shown that Lampungnese
parents had authoritative parenting character. This fact is relevant to Lampungnese
character such as firm and dominant.
