Abstract


The accumulation of patchwork textile waste is increasing, especially in Sukoharjo IV Village. This has a very negative impact if the community is not aware of the impact it has, such as making the environment dirty and air pollution if the waste is burned. Therefore, participation in textile waste management is not only carried out by local residents but can also be carried out by students and teachers as companions in the P5 activity implementation program with the aim of this program being to increase students' creativity and ability to respond and provide solutions to all solutions. which exists. This research uses a phenomenological qualitative research method where the researcher emphasizes his activities on exploring the subject's deepest awareness regarding experience. The results of this activity are able to turn patchwork textile waste into doormat crafts that have marketable value and are able to enable students to innovate and be creative.
