Penggunaan Bahasa Gaul pada Anak Usia Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see, understand, and describe the use of slang in children aged 5 – 10 years. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method using observation techniques by observing and paying direct ettention to the use of slang in children aged 5 – 10 years with tresearch subjects being children aged 5 – 10 years in the researcher’s environment. The result of the research show that the use of slang language discovered by researchers and used by children age 5 – 10 years in the researcher’s environment in everyday life is in the form of the word “Anjir” which means admiration or surprise when they see or hear something incident, the word “Coy” which has the meaning of close friendship, the word “Cok” which has the meaning of greeting a friend to increase familiarity or togetherness, and the word “Anjay” which has the meaning of admiration for an event which is usually used by children aged 5 – 10 years indaily life in the community.
