Journal of Community Health Sciences (JCSH) was first published in October 2025 under the management and publication of the Lembaga Publikasi Ilmiah. The journal was established as a scientific publication platform to facilitate the dissemination of research and scientific works in the field of community health and related health sciences.

In its early publication period, JCSH utilized the Open Journal Systems (OJS) 2 platform to manage manuscript submissions, editorial processes, peer review, and publication. The use of OJS 2 supported the journal's initial development and facilitated the management of scholarly publishing activities.

Since its first publication, JCSH has continued to develop its editorial and publication management systems in accordance with the principles of scientific publishing, transparency, peer review, and accessibility.
