ANALISIS BIOMARKER C-REACTIVE PROTEIN (CRP) PADA PENYAKIT DIABETES MELITUS

Hiperglikemia kronis pada penderita gangguan metabolisme glukosa memicu respon peradangan sistemik yang meningkatkan risiko komplikasi pembuluh darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis korelasi antara kadar Glukosa Darah Puasa dengan biomarker peradangan C-Reactive Protein. Menggunakan desain analitik observasional dengan pendekatan potong lintang, penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 35 subjek. Kadar Glukosa Darah Puasa diukur dengan metode enzimatik, sedangkan status reaktivitas dan titer C-Reactive Protein ditentukan melalui uji aglutinasi lateks semi-kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas subjek (37,1%) berada pada kategori hiperglikemia berat dengan prevalensi C-Reactive Protein positif mencapai 100%. Rata-rata kadar Glukosa Darah Puasa adalah 147,2 mg/dL dan kadar C-Reactive Protein sebesar 18,4 mg/L. Uji korelasi Spearman’s Rho menunjukkan hubungan signifikan yang sangat kuat p-value = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Hal ini membuktikan bahwa peningkatan kadar Glukosa darah secara masif mengaktivasi jalur peradangan sistemik melalui mediator pro-inflamasi, sehingga memperburuk status kesehatan subjek. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin buruk kontrol glikemik, semakin tinggi derajat peradangan sistemik yang terjadi.
