The decline in literacy, numeracy, and character achievement at SD Muhammadiyah Waringinsari based on the 2022–2023 AKM results shows the need for learning media innovations that are relevant to the needs of 21st-century students. One solution offered is the use of digital comics as character-based learning media. This Community Service activity aims to improve teachers' competence in developing digital comics through workshops that cover an introduction to digital media, storyboard preparation, comic design, and character value integration. The activity was carried out over two days, involving 11 teachers and the school principal. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding after participating in the workshop, as evidenced by a comparison of pretest and posttest scores. In addition, teachers were able to produce digital comics that contained elements of literacy, numeracy, and character values in line with learning objectives. The level of participant satisfaction also showed a very positive response to the implementation of the activity. Overall, this workshop was effective in improving teachers' readiness to utilize technology, while supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum through the development of creative, interesting, and meaningful digital learning media.
