Publication Ethics

Authors, reviewers, and editors must adhere to the scientific publication code of ethics.

  • Informed Consent (for research): If the research involves human subjects (students, teachers, informants for linguistic data), authors must ensure that ethical standards are met, and Informed Consent is obtained for data collection and publication.

  • Author Contributions: Only individuals who have significantly contributed to the research concept, data collection/analysis, or manuscript drafting should be listed as authors.

  • Referencing Style: Manuscripts must strictly adhere to the designated citation and referencing style (usually APA Style or a modified version specific to the humanities; authors should consult the specific author guidelines). The use of reference managers (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero) is highly encouraged.

  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could be perceived as influencing the research findings or interpretation must be disclosed.
