DEVIASI BAHASA DALAM PUISI KARYA PENYAIR MADURA

Abstract

This study aims to examine language deviations in poetry by Madurese poets related to the origin of their birth in the Madura region by using Leech's theory. The method used is descriptive-qualitative. Sources of research data include poems from the Arsip Puisi Penyair Madura se-Indonesia (APP-MI) blog. The results of this study indicate that the poems from the APP-MI blog contain language deviations, namely lexical, semantic, phonological, morphological, syntactic, dialect, register, and historical deviations. Specifically, dialect deviation is closely related to the birth background of the poet, who is from the Madura region.
