GRAMMATICAL ERROR ON STUDENTS’ RESEARCH PROPOSAL WRITING

Abstract

This article is: (1) to find the students grammatical errors types in writing research proposal; (2) to investigate their reasons of having grammatical errors, and (3) to find the solutions in minimizing the grammatical errors. This article used qualitative approach. The respondents were taken purposively. To analyze the data, it was used content analysis. The results of this research are the respondents had addition, omission, misformation and misordering. These errors are because they had not paid more attention to the use of tenses. Besides, they read thesis in the library.
