Preconception health is an important effort in improving maternal and child health quality before pregnancy occurs. Preconception preparation is not only focused on physical health but also psychological, social, and spiritual readiness. Islamic education is considered capable of strengthening women’s understanding and awareness regarding healthy pregnancy preparation based on religious values. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of Islamic education in preconception preparation among women of reproductive age. The method used was a literature review by reviewing various national and international scientific articles published between 2019–2025 related to Islamic education, reproductive health, and preconception care. The literature search was conducted through Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect databases using relevant keywords. The results showed that Islamic-based education contributed positively to increasing knowledge, healthy lifestyle behavior, nutritional readiness, reproductive health awareness, and psychological readiness before pregnancy. Religious approaches also improved women’s motivation in maintaining reproductive health and preparing for a healthy pregnancy. In conclusion, Islamic education can be used as an alternative promotive and preventive approach in preconception care services, especially in improving women’s readiness for healthy and planned pregnancies
